This September, to mark Recovery Month 2025, we are launching a brand-new campaign – The Road to Recovery. It’s a powerful way for people to come together, celebrate recovery journeys, and help pave the way for others to begin theirs.
Through our new digital fundraising platform, Ema, supporters will be able to “lay a brick” on our virtual Road to Recovery. Each brick represents a personal milestone – whether that’s sharing the number of recovery days or leaving a message of hope for someone else who is starting out. Together, these bricks will build a symbolic pathway of strength, solidarity, and possibility.
Recovery looks different for everyone, and this campaign has been designed to include all journeys – not just those related to drugs or alcohol, but any form of recovery. By adding a brick, you’re helping to show that recovery is possible, that progress matters, and that no one has to walk the road alone.
Each brick will contribute to a growing “totaliser” of recovery time, demonstrating the collective power of recovery across our community. Donors and supporters can also leave optional messages or photos, creating a living wall of encouragement for those still finding their way.
You can get involved by taking the following simple steps:
2. Choose your brick.
3. Add your number of recovery days and leave a supportive message.
4. If you wish, make a donation to help others begin their journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps break stigma, improve understanding, and make recovery accessible for everyone.
Every brick tells a story. Every day in recovery matters. And every contribution helps someone else take their first step.
This Recovery Month, join us on the Road to Recovery. Add your brick, celebrate your journey, and give hope to someone who needs to know that change is possible.
