Meet Tom, who shares his childhood experiences of living with a parent with alcohol dependency. Tom discusses the impact of growing up with a parent who was in active addiction. Now in recovery, Tom's parent has worked hard to rebuild trust - and now their relationship is better than ever.

It's a joy to hear from Cliff - now several years (over 19) in recovery. He is enjoying life and thriving with the connections he has built in his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Darren talks about his sexuality and how this ignited an internal conflict about his true identity - leading him to become dependent on alcohol. Now substance free and working for The Forward Trust, Darren's inspiring story shows how good life can be when free from addiction.

Sharon's story is beautiful as it explains why people who are around the addiction of others need recovery too.

Alice talks about a culture of drinking that enveloped her - first becoming aware of it at university, and before she knew it, it had become second nature to self-soothe using alcohol. Alice then talks of the joys of recovery and rediscovering herself all over again.
