Faces and Voices of Recovery (FAVOR) UK

FAVOR is a UK-wide human rights advocacy case worker service. It is led by people with living and lived experience of alcohol and other drugs representing the voices of communities affected by addiction. With over 5000 members, FAVOR campaigns for better access and treatment choices for those seeking help with addiction.

Kaleidoscope Project

Kaleidoscope Project

Kaleidoscope runs a number of substance use projects across Wales, supporting over 10,000 people a year. The charity has a number of specialist programmes that support individuals through substance use, housing and ex-offenders concerns.

Music Support

Music Support was founded by people from inside the UK music industry to support those within it. The charity provides help and support for those in, or employed by, the UK music industry affected by mental ill-health, including addiction. A confidential Helpline is also supported by signposting/advice, training and on-site support hubs at major festivals.

Nacoa

Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) addresses the needs of children affected by a parent’s drinking or similar addictive problem. This includes children of all ages, many of whose problems only become apparent in adulthood. The charity offers information, advice and support for children affected by a parent’s drinking.

Phoenix Futures

Phoenix Futures support services include residential, community, prison and specialist services across the UK. The charity also offers psychosocial support to aid people on their journey of recovery. Phoenix also works to embed best practice and influence policy.

Steps 2 Recovery

Steps 2 Recovery

Steps2Recovery (S2R) provides help for ex-offenders that are often stuck in the complex and repeat cycles of short prison sentences, rearrest (often due to drug and alcohol addiction) and unavoidable homelessness. S2R’s primary objective is to offer clients treatment based on their need rather than their ability to access funding.

Visible Recovery uses its unique position to educate legislators, parliament and health professionals – plus a wide range of other influence groups – to provide better access to recovery support.  Visible Recovery campaign to raise awareness of 12-Step Programmes and Fellowships.
